Athens Sightseeing Half Day Tour

This guided tour is dedicated to Athens sightseeing. It aims to give visitors a first impression of Athens major attractions. It’s especially designed for first time visitors and travellers with limited time and want a comprehensive tour.

The tour will start with a visit to Constitution Square passing through the National Garden and popular sites such as Hadrian’s Arch, St Paul’s Church, Parliament, Monument of the Unknown Soldier, the Catholic Church, the Numismatic Museum. We will also visit Panepistimiou Street and the neoclassical buildings of the University of Athens, the Academy and the National Library. Walking by the Zappeion and the Temple of Olympian Zeus our next stop is the Panathinaic Stadium where the first modern Olympic Games were held in 1869.

Next we shall be visiting one of the most important world heritage monuments of UNESCO, the Acropolis with  the Propylae (the entrance to the Acropolis) the temple of Athena Nike and of course the Parthenon and  the Erechtheion.
